Great Bend is home to the Great Planes Chapter 1134 of the Experimental Aircraft Association. The chapter consists of local aviation enthusiasts who keep the passion for flying alive in the Great Bend area. Meetings are held on the first Sunday of each month with the location varying monthly. Members and their guests are welcome to attend the pot luck meetings.
